Five Questions Part III

ETA: This post was scheduled...alas, still not working! Here it is anyways!

I received my next set of questions from maitai. Please check out her blog! Rules for the game can be found here, and Parts 1 and 2.

1. How/Why did you start blogging?

I can put whatever I'd like in the blog since I am blogging anonymously. ;) It's a nice way of being totally truthful since in real life I tend to not state my feelings all the time. I never want to hurt feelings and I hate confrontations. IRL my friends typically describe me as being "too nice". I take that as a good thing, EXCEPT when I really really want to vent!

2. Wedges or stilettos or flip-flips?

I'm choosing the best of both worlds. The mixture of wedges and flip-flops! ;) I like the height of the wedges and the comfort of the flip-flops. Something like this would work for me!

3. Windows or Mac and why?

I'd say Windows, all of the computers that I've had have been PCs, just ease of use, etc. I've used Macs before, so it's not like I have an aversion. I like have the little taskbar at the bottom, with the Macs, I tend to get annoyed with having to minimize things to find certain other things that I need. Plus Macs are definitely more expensive and more expensive in terms of finding software that I need to use for graduate research.

4. If you could have a choice between your dream house or a chance to travel to any and every part of the world you wanted for a full year--all expenses paid--which would you prefer?

What a toughie, I think I'd go for the dream house though. While traveling is all good, especially with all expenses paid, I'd rather have my dream home to "go home" to. I think I'd love decorating which is also why I'd prefer the house instead of the year-long trip. I'm a homebody! :) I'm one of those people who always imagine what certain rooms would look like. For example, I've always imagined a stainless steel kitchen (as in the appliances such as the fridge, oven, etc), I think I'd still like wooden cabinetry though.

5. What do you think is the best: being the oldest child, the middle child or the youngest child?

I think they each have their pros and cons. The oldest obviously gets to do ALMOST everything first, unless she's a GIRL (me), of course. Then the Rents are a bit more protective (read a lot more). But I wouldn't change things because I'm sure that it had a large role to play in the way I deal with things now as an adult. I learned to take on more responsibilities when I was younger. My parents do trust me a lot, which is nice and we're really close. I can joke and "prank" them without consequences...for the most part. ;)

Please let me know if you want to play! I love finding out more about all you bloggers out there!

I think I'd definitely have to agree with #4.

You can get lost inside of a home. A home can be a place where you feel safe. Travelling is great, but you need a place to come home to. :)

I'd love to play too!

I love those shoes! I am totally a fan of the wedge flip-flop combo. I am actually wearing some right now. haha. I also agree with #4. Traveling would be easier when your dream home is paid off :)

I love the wedge/flip flop hybrid but I do like flips better. They are SO comfortable!

@Rachel
:) I would a dream house! An enormous one with lots of windows!

@Trixie
I love them because the wedge provides the height that I lack, and the flip flop part, the comfort!

@Jessica
Yes they are, but I need the height, otherwise my pants would never fit!

Haha I love your answers! I agree with almost all of them! >_< I can't wait to (maybe) get my dream house! lol. I love looking up architectural and interior design plans and just planning what I'd want for a house someday. ;)

@maitai
It's so much fun, but I can only imagine how much my dream house is going to cost! ;) Now if only I could win the lottery!
