Five Questions Part II

Sorry for the delay! Yesterday was my b-day so I did a lot of eating and hanging with close friends. No big parties, just low key...just the way I like it!


Here are the rules and the first set of questions! This a game to get to know your blogger friends!

1. What are you studying in Grad School and why did you chose that career path/major?

I'm studying biomedical engineering. I chose this area because I have always had an intense interest in biology/sciences as well as in the medical field. I also like applying science rather than basic science, hence engineering instead of just biology or chemistry (pure sciences). I love hearing about the new and upcoming technologies in the biotech field.

2. What country do you want to visit more than any other and why?

A difficult question on choosing a top one, because I have 2, but the gut answer would be Australia. I've always had an infatuation with seeing a koala (weird, isn't it?). The hot accents Down Under, don't hurt either! ;)

3. Describe your perfect day.

I'll describe the perfect day on a weekend, since that's more relaxing than a weekday.

Sleeping in, and waking up to a bright blue sky. Having lunch with friends, chatting, canoeing or strawberry picking. Then going out to dinner/movies with friends and family. That would be a perfect day, no worries, no cares, just spending quality time relaxing.

4. What superpower to do you wish you had?

Oooh, another hard decision, I think I want to have telekinesis. Just think, moving things with your mind, that would be totally awesome. I could multi-task so much better that way. :)

5. Biggest regret?

Cliche as it seems...I don't think I'd change anything. I believe that everything happens for a reason and that everything that has happened in the past has shaped us in our present day.

If you were to force me to choose, where I am today, I'd say, that I'd make more of an effort to meet new people and not just focus on academics during my early graduate school years.
