Back from break...

I'm back from my little break! Too little, I wish I had another week off. It was so nice not having to think about lab, other than a random lapse or two.

To be honest, I have only read and seen the Harry Potter series. I have not watched nor read any of the Twilight series. Not to bash Twilight since I haven't seen it (nor read it), but I don't think I'm a fan of a teenage vampire movie romance. This is coming from a girl that has not been able to sit through Titanic! My friend has described the book as being a teeny bopper vampire romance with a lot of angst and yearning thrown in, while one of my coworkers debated walking out on the movie.

My break was good! Outlet shopping was fun! Did bring home a few things, but not a huge shopping spree...There was a little "mishap" that poked a little of the fun away. Home with the parents was fun, and relaxing. Lots of shopping with my mom (and aunt), more clothing hauls brought home, I think I went shopping everyday while I was home. Did not touch a smidgen of work, even though I did bring some home. Watched a ton of TV and a little bit of the Tour de France (I'm a geek, I know).

Now that I'm back, I'm continuing my search for a home. The place I just saw today! Not my cup of tea, while I know it's the epitome of campus housing that you usually see, I'm just not used to it. Student housing can sometimes be a little scary or maybe I've just been spoiled by the places that I've stayed at.

Ok, I have a lot in my Reader to read that'll probably last all weekend! Off to catch up!
