GREAT news! I'm ecstatic and enjoying this temporary high and decided to share it with all my blogger friends!
You know how I've been "gone" and working on revisions like crazy. Well, I've resubmitted the revisions of my manuscript with rebuttals/responses and VOILA...a few days later...ACCEPTANCE! My paper was accepted with no need to go back to the reviewers (which I am totally thankful for) in less than 2 days!
YIPPEEEEE! My second first author publication-sorry if this is gibberish to some of you. While publishing is not my main goal, since I plan to enter industry and not academia, it's always nice to see your name in print! And it's a little like vindication that all this crappy work does achieve something...for the most part! :)
Another step forward! Hope this means my experiments will start working things out themselves...

Thanks everyone! I plan to have a great time. Yesterday it was shopping...and today was more shopping...and then tomorrow friends! It's a great weekend! I'll update with all the stuff next week!
